Contest Seeks Cancer Reporting

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Oct, 2016 ) : The Cancer World Journalism Award seeks outstanding pieces of journalism that are changing the way people think about cancer. Print, online and broadcast journalists can apply for the award, said a press release on Saturday.
The contest has four categories: patient and carer experience; research, science and treatment; policy, services and affordability; and prevention. Work must have been published or broadcast between Jan 1, 2015 and Sept 30, 2016.
Non-English entries must include an English translation. Winners will receive EUR1,500 (US$1,645) in each category. The overall winner will attend the European Cancer Congress in January 2017 in the Netherlands. The deadline is October 31.
