
Continued Civilian Killings In Occupied Kashmir Denounced

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -22nd Augst,2016) : Hurriyet leaders have strongly denounced the continued killing of civilians by the Indian forces. According to KMS, Hurriyet leaders including Shabbir Ahmad Dar, Muhammad Iqbal Mir, Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo, Ghulam Nabi War and Muhammad Yousuf Gilkar in a joint statement issued in Srinagar slammed the massacre of Kashmiri people. "These oppressive tactics would not be able to break the will of the people or force them to give up their struggle for securing right to self-determination," they added.
Meanwhile, the spokesman of the High Court Bar Association of the territory in a statement in Srinagar condemned the killings, blinding, maiming, torturing and beating of innocent civilians by the Indian forces. The spokesman said, "Armed forces and police fire bullets and pellets on innocent Kashmiris indiscriminately resulting in killings and blinding of the people." He demanded immediate end to use of pellet guns.
