Cooperative Deptt To Be Made More Active: CM

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Apr, 2019 ) :Provincial Minister Cooperative Mehar Muhammad Aslam Bharwana called on Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar here on Sunday at the CM's Office.

He briefed the chief minister about performance of his department.

On this occasion, the chief minister said the cooperative department would be made more active.

He said a new policy had been devised to give assets and property of the cooperative department on lease and its rates would also be revised.

He said strict legal action would be taken against those who had occupied that property illegally. Steps would also be taken to uplift cooperative bank in accordance with the latest trends of the banking sector.

He said the cooperative department had a compelling role for the welfare of farmers and the government would take all steps to promote cultivators.
