Corps Commander Confers 97 Gallantry Awards To Military Personnel: Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR)

A total of 97 Army personnel were conferred various gallantry awards in an investiture ceremony held at corps headquarters, Lahore on Thursday.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Mar, 2018 ) :A total of 97 Army personnel were conferred various gallantry awards in an investiture ceremony held at corps headquarters, Lahore on Thursday.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release, Commander Lahore Corps Lieutenant General Aamer Riaz conferred the awards for acts of gallantry during operations, outstanding performances in respective fields and for their long meritorious services.
As many as 58 officers of Pakistan Army were awarded Tamgha-e-Imtiaz (Military), 17 officers, soldiers were awarded Tamgha-e-Basalat and 22 officers were awarded Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military). The medals of Shuhadas were received by their family members. A large number of officers and relatives of Shuhada attended the ceremony.
