FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Oct, 2018 ) :Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Railways and MNA Mian Farrukh Habib Saturday said that the country has been put on the road to progress and prosperity, under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Talking to the media after attending a meeting here at DC office, he said that if any friendly country of Pakistan provides help at this stage, the government would not go to the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
He appealed to the overseas Pakistanis to send their money through legal process, instead of hundi-hawala, so that the national economy could be strengthened.
He said that 'Naya-Pakistan Housing program' was being constituted to provide homes to low-income people purely on merit. He said that the government would not deprive the poor of their livelihood. "We have allowed five feet space in the Jhang Bazaar for venders and stall-holders so that they could earn their livelihood," added the secretary.
To a question, he said that statements against national institutions were tantamount to weakening the country. He said the statement given by a Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader could provide an oppertunity to the enemies to raise fingers at the defense institutions of the country.
