CPD workshop "Innovative Business Models for Young Women Entrepreneurs" held at Fatima Jinnah Women University

The Department of Software Engineering, Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU) in collaboration with Pakistan Engineering Council and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) FJWU student branch organized a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) workshop here on Monday on "Innovative Business Models for Young Women Entrepreneurs." Eng. Humaira Sajjad, Assistant Manager, Technology Incubation Center, NUST was guest speaker on the occasion.

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Oct, 2018 ) :The Department of Software Engineering, Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU) in collaboration with Pakistan Engineering Council and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) FJWU student branch organized a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) workshop here on Monday on "Innovative business Models for Young Women Entrepreneurs." Eng. Humaira Sajjad, Assistant Manager, Technology Incubation Center, NUST was guest speaker on the occasion.

Eng. Humaira discussed about normal terms related to entrepreneurship e.g. vitamins and painkillers. She related these things to entrepreneurship. Vitamins are called those things which are not needed at a spot while the Painkillers are the things which we need at a spot.

According to the students, they attending the workshop have learnt that being young women how they can start new businesses at a lower level.

The students were taught that first they must have an idea that what they are going to initiate. Secondly they have to check its feasibility by performing validation.

They have to check the available resources and will the idea really profitable for them in future or not.

At the end of the workshop Dean of Science and Technology Prof. Dr. Uzaira Rafique gave vote ofthanks to the honorable guests and presented the university souvenir to theguest speaker.
