CPEC To Change Fate Of People Of Entire Region: Ibrahim

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Feb, 2017 ) : Minister education Gilgit-Baltistan Muhammad Ibrahim Sanai has said that China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will change the fate of people of entire region.
In a statement on Wednesday, he said people of Gilgit- Baltistan will get more benefits from CPEC as Karakorum Highway is passing through four districts of the area, Radio Pakistan reported. He said construction of Diamer Bhasha Dam, 180 MW hydel power projects, execution of expressways and economic zones under economic corridor project will put the area on path of progress.
He said durable peace is prerequisite of CPEC and government and opposition are jointly working for this purpose. He said government is focusing on energy and health sectors to facilitate masses.
He mention that one hundred and seventeen projects are being executed to generate hydel power in Gilgit-Baltistan. The minister said thirty four new projects in health sector are also being implemented to provide better health facilities.
