Child Protection and Welfare Bureau (CPWB) Rawalpindi is making all out efforts to reunite 15 children taken into custody from different areas of the city with their relatives
RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Dec, 2017 ) :Child Protection and Welfare Bureau (CPWB) Rawalpindi is making all out efforts to reunite 15 children taken into custody from different areas of the city with their relatives.
Talking to APP District Officer, CPWB, Syed Ali Abid Naqvi said that 15 lost children namely Usman son of Liaquat, Allah Rakha, Bilal s/o Aslam, Ali Chaudhary, Basoo Khan s/o Abbas, Rizwan s/o Nokhaiz, Waseem s/o Abdul Rehman, Muhammad Zubair s/o Bakhsoo, Ali Hassan s/o Sabir, Saleem s/o Bashir, Rehan, Haris, Hussnain and Ayan are in legal custody of the bureau.
He urged the citizens particularly those who know a child with name above mentioned to come forward and play a role to reunite him with their family members.
He informed that efforts were being made to trace the parents or guardians of the lost children but remained futile as the phone numbers, addresses and other details given by the children were incorrect.
The citizens who have any information about a lost child can contact CPWB helpline 1121 or phone numbers 051-9268266 to 8 of the bureau. To a question he said, the family tracing section of the bureau makes efforts for reunification of the rescued children including kidnapped, runaway, lost, missing and trafficked children.
Ali Abid Naqvi said, children found begging on various city roads were taken into custody by the bureau as rescue teams of the bureau along with police regularly visit different areas in the city.
