Crime On Rise In Federal Capital

Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th March, 2019) Crime is rising at alarming rate in Federal Capital as police baldy failed to control it.The inner sources stated that mafia including land-grabbers, kidnappers, drug sellers have gripped the different areas of Federal Capital with the connivance of police officers especially retired officers.The incumbent government, during its first eight months, has seen an astounding increase of 98 per cent in crimes including murders and attempt to murders, kidnapping, robberies and thefts.Sources stated that IG Islamabad Amir Zulfiqar Khan had sent list of 43 corrupt officers police to Interior Ministry, however ministry did not took nay against these officers.
These corrupt officers again appointed on high pots.Sources stated that number of incidents of car and motorbike theft, home burglaries and snatching at gunpoint, land grabbing and drug selling took place in past few months.Currently ugly business of liquor and drugs selling was going on without any check in the areas like Tarnol, Golra, Barakahu, secretariat, Khana, Koral.
On the other hand many criminals were staying in the areas of police stations Noon, Aabpara, Sahila, I-9 Sabzi Mandi, Shahzad Town and other locations.
