Current Shower Spell To Continue

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Jul, 2024) The Meteorological Department predicted on Thursday extension of the current rainy spell till Saturday in most parts of the country including the provincial capital with gaps.
According to a spokesman for Pakistan Meteorological Department, strong monsoon currents are likely to penetrate from Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal in upper parts till July 27 and under the influence of this weather system, rain wind/thundershower (with few heavy falls) are expected in Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Wazirabad, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Sialkot, Narowal, Sahiwal, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Nankana Sahib, Chiniot, Faisalabad, Okara, Pakpattan, Kasur, Khushab, Sargodha, Bhakkar and Mianwali and Pothohar Region.
Rain wind/thundershower (with few heavy falls) are also expected in most parts of Kashmir, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Sindh, Gilgit-Baltistan with occasional gaps during the period.
