Says she had come to Pakistan for modelling and for doing research on Islamic studies.
Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 21st December, 2018) Czech model Teresa, arrested for smuggling heroin to United Arab Emirates (UAE), has taken a U-turn like Pakistani politicians.
According to details, the Czech model wants to become a great leader and has even got the training for taking U-turns.
The model had earlier confessed to smuggling heroin to UAE but now, taking a U-turn, she said that she had come to Pakistan to do research on Islamic teachings.
After spending a year in jail, the foreign model has learned how to take a U-turn. Not only that, she has also adopted the Pakistani culture as she wears traditional clothes and carry a shawl too now.
In her latest statement, the model said that she came to Pakistan for modelling and for doing research on Islamic studies.
“But the Custom officials arrested me on airport, thinking of me as an easy target,” she said.
She added that no drugs were recovered from her luggage.
The 21-year-old model Teresa, belonging to Czech Republic, was taken into custody for Allama Iqbal International Airport in January when she attempted to smuggle 9kg heroin to United Arab Emirates. The drugs were worth Rs150 million in international market.
The woman managed to pass two security checks when the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) and Customs officials took her in custody after finding the contraband.
The court had in April indicted the foreign model Teresa for smuggling heroin.
