Dacoit Gang Busted

LODHRAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Jul, 2025) Galewal police dismantled a three-member Asifo dacoit gang including its ringleader and recovered about Rs2 million stolen goods from their possession.

According to DSP Sadar Abid Hussain Bhalla, police arrested the gang involved in crimes including robbery, burglary, and motorcycle theft across the district. As a result of the operation, six criminal cases were traced and linked to the gang.

During the raid, police recovered five stolen motorcycles, Rs150,000 in cash, two tola gold, 15 tola silver, and various household items.

The professionalism and dedication of the police team played a crucial role in reducing the crime rate in the area.

District Police Officer (DPO) Ali bin Tariq praised SHO Galewal Irfan Sukhaea and his team for their operation. He reaffirmed that district police was committed to protectinge lives and properties of citizens.
