Dacoit Killed In Encounter

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th july, 2016) : A dacoit was killed while his two accomplices managed to escape during an encounter with police in Sadar police Jaranwala precinct. According to police here on Monday, Mumtaz was returning home from Shahkot on Sunday late night when three bandits looted valuables from him besides snatching motorbike.
In the meantime, a police team headed by SHO Asim Rasheed was on routine patrolling near the village and when they reached at the crime scene Mumtaz told police about dacoity incident. Police chased the criminals and tried to encircle them but they opened fire at police.
Police also started firing in defence, on which, two bandits fled the crime scene while their accomplice received injuries. The injured dacoit later identified as Sona of Chak No 232-RB Dogranwali died on way to hospital.
