KHUZDAR, QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Sep, 2021 ) :Deputy Commissioner Major (Retd) Basheer Ahmed Wednesday said the collective efforts were needed to eradicate polio virus.
While presiding over a meeting here, he said the healthy generation was guarantee to bright future of the nation. There was no room for negligence in the polio campaign, he said and added that polio teams were trying their best to administer anti-polio drops to each single children of under five years of age.
The meeting was attended by National Staff Officer Dr.
Shafi Danish, District coordinator officer Dr. Asmatullah Muhammad Shai, Area Coordinator National Program Dr. Nasratullah, Immunization Officer Dr. Abdul Samad Baloch, DHO Khuzdar Dr. Soomar Khan Baloch, Paramedical Staff Association Khuzdar President Abdul Rashid Ghulamani and other representatives.
The officials concerned briefed the deputy commissioner about the polio campaign in the City, Tehsil and rural areas, saying, at least 150,585 children would be administered anti-polio drops during the polio drive in the area.
