DC handed over Rs 0.2 million cheque to District Scouts Officer

NAWABSHAH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -5th Sep,2016) : Deputy Commissioner Ghanwar Ali Laghari handed over a cheque of Rs. 0.2 million to District Scouts Officer Umer Hayat for the betterment of scouting in the district.

He said scouts can play important role in the circumstances currently prevailing in the country.

Addressing the occasion at Scouts Office Hall, Deputy Commissioner said that big responsibility lies on the shoulders of scouts to curb the menace of terrorism.

He said that scouting has great importance during current tenure and it requires further improvement in scout training, discipline side by side with the enthusiastic service to common man. He also said that the training would bring up enthusiasm in scouts and they would be able to play better role for positive improvement in society.

Later Deputy Commissioner visited H.M. Khoja library and enquired about the facilities available for readers.
