DC Inaugurates Monsoon Tree Plantation Drive

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th Aug, 2024) Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bahawalpur Zaheer Anwar Jappa has inaugurated the monsoon tree plantation campaign by planting a "Largostomya" sapling in the Special Children Park near University Chowk.
On this occasion, the Director General of Parks and Horticulture Authority Rubina Abbasi, CEO of education Muhammad Akram, and other officials who planted saplings as part of the tree-planting campaign were also present.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Zaheer Anwar Jappa emphasized that evergreen and shade-providing plants should be planted during the current tree-planting initiative and that special attention should be given to their care and watering alongside planting.
