DC Instructs HESCO Authorities To Avoid Load Shedding On The Eid Milad-un-Nabi

NAWABSHAH, Dec 1 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 01st Dec, 2016 ) : The Jashn-e-Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) would be observed with religious fervour and dignity, which is the demand of love and affection with Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
These views were expressed by deputy commissioner Shaheed Benazirabad, Muhammad Nouman Siddique, at a meeting held here on Thursday to take a view of the arrangements of the day. He said all the processions taken out on the day would be given tight security by police and Rangers apart from ambulances and paramedics those would accompany the processions.
The DC assured cooperation and maximum facilities to Milad committees for celebration of the day in befitting manner and instructed municipal staff to ensure sanitation on procession routes and in front of all mosques.
He said prizes would be awarded to citizens who decorate and illuminate their houses and streets and the decision of winners would be announced by "Charagan Committee" while winners of Naat Khawani programs would also be awarded by the district administration.
On the day fruit and sweets would be distributed among the patients admitted at hospitals and prisoners at jails, he added. DC instructed HESCO authorities to avoid load shedding on the Eid Milad Day while ulema of Jamaat Ahl-Sunnat presented some proposal.
The meeting was also attended by Milad Committee members, epresentatives of religious parties, Union Council secretaries, Revenue officers, rangers, Traffic Police, Assistant Commissioners and officials of Municipal Committee, local government, Deputy Controller Civil Defense and Health Department.
