DC Larkana Visits Various Villages To Monitor National Polio Campaign

LARKANA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Sep, 2021 ) :Deputy Commissioner Larkana Tariq Manzoor Chandio along-with Additional Deputy Commissioner-II and District Health Officer on Thursday visited the various villages of Larkana, Bakrani and Ratodero Talukas districts to monitor the 6-Day National Polio Campaign, started from Monday.

During the visit, Deputy Commissioner was briefed that the officials of Health Department with the assistance of WHO, UNICEF, setup 812 teams, were visiting door to door to administrate anti Polio drops to 0-5 years children in Larkana district.

DC Larkana urged upon the parents, teachers, representative of NGOs and the members of community that they should come forward and play their role to make Polio campaign successful.

Deputy Commissioner said that control rooms have already been setup to monitor the campaign in Larkana district at District and Taaaluka level.

The Deputy Commissioner also visited the various bus stops to monitor the situation at grass root level.
