DC Pays Surprise Visits To THQ Hospitals In Hasilpur, Khairpur Tamewali

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Aug, 2024) Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bahawalpur Zaheer Anwar Jappa has stated that all resources will be utilized to provide the best medical facilities to citizens under the vision of the Chief Minister of Punjab.

He issued these directives during a surprise visit to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Hasilpur. Assistant Commissioner Hasilpur Ahmad Rana accompanied him during this visit.

The DC inspected various departments of the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital and evaluated the available medical facilities. He also checked the stock of medicines and the attendance of staff.

He visited patients at the hospital and inquired about the medical facilities available to them.

Subsequently, he inspected the Allama Iqbal Park established in Tehsil Hasilpur. Assistant Commissioner Ahmad Rana provided a briefing, stating that daily cleanliness operations are conducted according to the instructions of the Chief Minister under the Clean Punjab Campaign.

He mentioned that cleanliness operations are being carried out at bus stands, roads, intersections, and other public places to provide standard cleaning facilities to citizens.

The DC instructed that effective measures should be taken to successfully implement the Clean Punjab Campaign and promptly address the cleanliness complaints by citizens. He stated that field staff should ensure the drainage of rainwater and take effective measures to prevent dengue larvae.

Later, the DC visited Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Khairpur Tamewali to review the available medical facilities. He attended to patients and checked the availability of dog bite vaccines, the stock of medicines, and the attendance of the hospital staff.
