DC Visits Chenab Erosion Site

GUJRAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Jul, 2025) Deputy Commissioner Noor ul Ain Qureshi visited the flood flashpoint at Kot Ghulam to assess the erosion caused by the River Chenab.
Executive Engineer Irrigation Faisal Sardar briefed the DC on the current water flow, precautionary measures, and efforts made so far to prevent further erosion and protect the embankments.
Later, DC Qureshi also inspected the flood relief camp established at Chak Saada. She reviewed the available facilities and administrative arrangements to ensure effective support for the affected population.
