
DC Zhob Urges Citizens Against Polio

ZHOB, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th july, 2016) : Deputy Commissioner (DC) Zhob Muhammad Azeem Kakar has urged the citizens to cooperate with polio teams in administering anti-polio drops to their children. He said this while presiding over a meeting of district health department officials, NGOs officials and social workers to play their role in administering the anti-polio drops to the children, aged below five years during the three day anti-polio campaign.
He said all available resources would be utilized for succeeding the campaign in the district. "Over 63,000 children, aged five-year polio drops would be administered across the district during the drive," he added.
Assistant Commissioner Shekh Asmatullah Mandokhail, Tehsildar Zhob Mehtab Shah, health officials and NGOs official were present on the occasion.
