Dean Faculty of Engineering, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Engineer Prof. Dr. Muhammad Amjad participated as a distinguished speaker in the National Conference on Net Metering arranged by Punjab Energy Efficiency and Conservation Agency (PEECA) and Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO)
BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Apr, 2019 ) :Dean Faculty of Engineering, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Engineer Prof. Dr. Muhammad Amjad participated as a distinguished speaker in the National Conference on Net Metering arranged by Punjab Energy Efficiency and Conservation Agency (PEECA) and Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO).
According to the spokesman of the university Shahzad Ahmad, dean faculty of Engineering presented his ideas and suggestions to improve the use of clean and free energy in Pakistan, particularly in South Punjab.
He also presented the details of the 3-megawatt solar-based project for the Islamia University of Bahawalpur recently approved by PEECA. Provincial Minister for Energy, Dr Muhammad Akhtar Malik appreciated the proposal presented by Engr. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Amjad to design the houses of upcoming Naya Pakistan Housing scheme on the principles of energy efficiency and self-sustaining homes.
