Decision taken to set up special squads of police to rein in street crimes

Decision has been taken to deploy special squads of police to rein in street crimes in Rawalpindi city.Rawal division Superintendent Police (SP) Usman Tariq Butt has said police men in plain clothes will be deployed at pickets to control street crimes

RAWALPINDI (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd March, 2019) Decision has been taken to deploy special squads of police to rein in street crimes in Rawalpindi city.Rawal division Superintendent Police (SP) Usman Tariq Butt has said police men in plain clothes will be deployed at pickets to control street crimes.

Special squads will be set up and deployed in all main business centres to control robberies and incidents of theft. Police men in plain clothes will conduct patrolling as well.
