KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Apr, 2019 ) :A six-member delegation of AllPakistanWomen's Association (APWA), Sindh led by its Coordinator Sajida Soomro on Monday called on SindhGovernor Imran Ismail at the Governor House here on Monday.
Students of different schools, Member SindhAssembly Adeeba Arif, Principal Ayesha Siddiqa school Liaquatabad, Munawer Sultana and other notables were also present, said a statement.
The students of the schools presented a cheque of amount Rs 125000, to the Governor of Sindh for Dam Fund.
Speaking on the occasion, the Governor appreciated the role of APWA for welfare and betterment of the women.
He said that the women will have to play a significant role in development of the country.
Imran Ismail said that the present government wants participation of all segments of the society in construction and development of the country.
