Departmental Development Working Party (DDWP) Approves 21 Development Projects In GB

The Departmental Development Working Party (DDWP) held a meeting and approved around 21 development projects of the Annual Development Programme(ADP), 2018-19 in different sectors here on Monday.

GILGIT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Oct, 2018 ) :The Departmental Development Working Party (DDWP) held a meeting and approved around 21 development projects of the Annual Development Programme(ADP), 2018-19 in different sectors here on Monday.

The meeting was held under the head of Chief Secretary Babar Hayat Tarar was briefed about the various issues regarding those project which was hoped to usher in uplifting the area.

The projects include construction of various roads of 56 Kilometers at a cost of over Rs 670 million while 145 km-long roads would be made metal.

The meeting was informed that development schemes also included widening of 37 km-long roads besides construction of two small bridges in addition to building of 240 meter-long bridge over Hoshay River.

Moreover, the projects included power supply and construction residential and non-residential houses for district courts, adding that these projects.

The meeting was attended by officials of relevant departments.
