Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad Expresses Dismay Over PHED Performance

The Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad Aisha Abro while expressing her dismay over the performance of Public Health Engineering Department has asked the officers to submit detail report of PHED installations to concerned Assistant Commissioners of the district
Presiding over a meeting here at Shahbaz Hall, the Deputy Commissioner asked the PHED officers to discharge their responsibilities with dedication and devotion and provide maximum relief to the citizens of Hyderabad at the earliest.
She also directed the HMC officers to make sincere efforts for resolving health and found sanitation issue in the city with deployment of all sweepers on roads for cleanliness. Strict action will be taken against those who found negligence in duty, she warned.
On her query regarding numbers of garbage transfer stations in Hyderabad, the officers concerned informed that there was no such type of facility in Hyderabad however around 700 tons garbage is being lifted daily and shattered near village Mehar Ali.
However, the Deputy Commissioner expressed her dissatisfaction over the claims of the officers concerned in view of heaps of garbage on city roads and streets and directed to ensure lifting of dumped garbage from road and streets at the earliest.
She also asked the officers of health department to submit complete detail of the installation of reverse osmosis plants in the district.
