Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi For Municipal Facilities On Eid Milad Un Nabi (SAW)

Deputy Commissioner Umer Jhangir on Thursday ordered timely completion for ensuring all municipal facilities at the routes of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) processions.
Presiding over a meeting at his office, who is also the Chairman of Rawalpindi Waste and Management Company (RWMC) asked the officials of RWMC to ensure cleanliness around the mosques and procession routes.
The DC said all departments will be put on high alert on Eid Milad un Nabi (SAW) day.
He directed heads of departments to complete all necessary arrangements to provide security at processions.
Umer said foolproof arrangements would be ensured to prevent any terrorist activity in the city. He passed instructions to all town municipal officers regarding lighting, patch work, installation of manhole covers, traffic management, parking and removal of hanging electrical wires.
He said that Milad un Nabi (SAW) processions be monitored through CCTV.
He stressed the need for maintaining an atmosphere of religious harmony and brotherhood through divisionaland district peace committees in their respective areas.
