Differences must set a side to strengthen Pakistan: Zamurd Khan

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -7th Sept,2016) : Patron In Chief, Pakistan Sweet Homes Zamurd Khan Wednesday said that people must set a side their political and religious differences for the strengthening Pakistan.

He stated this while addressing as a chief guest at a seminar "Kashmir the Defense Line of Pakistan" organized here by the National University of Modern Languages (NUML) in collaboration with the Youth Forum for Kashmir in connection with "Pakistan Defence Day", said a press release issued here.

He said that it was a national and collective responsibility to feed orphan child of our martyrs adding it was not government or any other institution's only responsibility to take care of them but as nation we all must do this.

He thanked DG NUML for arranging such event to rememorize the national heroes. Director General NUML Brig Riaz Ahmed Gondal, Member National Assembly Ali Muhammad Khan, Spokesperson All Parties Hurriyat Conference Altaf Hussain Wani and veteran journalist and Executive Director Youth Forum for Kashmir Ahmed Qureshi were also attended the seminar.

In his address, D.G NUML Brig Riaz Ahmed Gondal said that establishment of Pakistan was the result of the sacrifices of our forefathers who gave their blood to get a separate homeland for us and we were blessed that we lived in a free country.

He said that our enemy had malicious agenda to week us but our youth, which was 65% of the total population was our real strength. MNA Ali Muhammad Khan in his speech said that Pakistan was the only country in the world which came into being in the name of Allah and islam.

He highlighted the importance of two nation theory and criticized the so called liberals who were trying to portray negativity in this regard. He said that Quaid's vision was so clear about the establishment of Pakistan and in many speeches and interviews Quaid demanded a separate homeland for the Muslims.

He said that we should avoid political differences to make Pakistan a stronger country and we must work together as Pakistanis. Spokesperson All Parties Hurriyat Conference Altaf Hussain Wani in his remarks termed that peace in South Asia was conditional with the resolve of the Kashmir dispute.

He said that Kashmiris had voted in favour of Pakistan before the partition of subcontinent. He stressed the need to defend the ideological boundaries of the nation and said that no war could be won without the help of the nation.

Executive Director Youth Forum for Kashmir and veteran Journalist Ahmed Qureshi said that as Pakistani we needed to highlight Kashmir issue on every forum to tell the world about the inhuman activities carried out by Indian army in Kashmir.

He urged the youth to promote Kashmir cause on social media. At the end Head of Department Governance and Public Policy Major General Syed Usman Shah (Retd) shared his own experiences of war of September 6, 1965. He also thanked all the participants and urged them to raise their voices through their respective forums to let the youth know about the sacrifices of our martyrs.
