DIG Directs To Address Citizens' Complaints On Priority

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Aug, 2024) Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Operations Islamabad, Syed Ali Raza on Wednesday directed to address citizens' complaints effectively at the police station level on top priority.
According to Police spokesman DIG Islamabad Syed Ali Raza chaired an important meeting at his office.
The meeting was attended by SSP Operations/Investigation, Zonal SPs, SP Investigation, SP Dolphin, SDPOs, SHOs, and in-charge ARDU.
DIG Syed Ali Raza directed all Zonal SPs, SDPOs, and SHOs to hold meetings, ensure the arrest of land grabbers and criminal elements, make security duties at key points in their zones more effective, and expand the scope of patrolling.
He said all police station vehicles should be on patrol in their respective areas around the clock to make patrolling more effective and purposeful.
He said that all officers should remain in their designated premises and gather information. "The in-charge investigation should form special raid teams for the arrest of criminal elements" he added.
He strictly instructed that any SHO whose area witnesses a serious crime will face action. DIG Islamabad emphasized that all SHOs should ensure their presence at police stations to address citizens' grievances.
"Addressing citizens' complaints effectively at the police station level is a top priority and must be ensured", he added.
