DIG Police Directs SSPs For Foolproof Security On Independence Day

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Aug, 2024) The Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Hyderabad Range Tariq Razaq Dharejo has put security on high alert on the occasion of Independence day and issued directives to all SSPs of range to provide foolproof security to rallies and Independence day celebrations.
According to a Spokesman of DIG office, DIG has directed concerned SSPs to prepare a fool proof security plan based on extraordinary protective measures and ensure protection of the life and property of people at every cost.
DIG further directed to ensure random snap checking and other security measures at Schools, Colleges, Universities, Press clubs and other places where Independence day celebration to be held.
He also directed police mobile vans, motorcycle patrolling on prominent places, picketing on main roundabouts, entry and exit points.
DIG also directed to take strict action against people engaging in aerial firing during celebrations and one wheeling.
He directed all SSPs of Hyderabad range to maintain law and order situation in their relevant areas on 14th August and set up a control room equipped with the latest facilities.
