District Administration Finalizes Arrangements For Elections: DC

SWABI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Jul, 2018 ) ::Deputy Commissioner, Salman Lodhi has said that all kinds of arrangements have been finalized in the district for the peaceful and smooth conduct of the general elections on Wednesday (July 25).
He was addressing a ceremony here at his office which was attended by officials of Pakistan Army and others government officials on Sunday.
DC Lodhi said that CCTV cameras have been installed on polling station for maintenance of peace and tranquility during polling day. He stressed upon the candidates and voters to follow code of conduct of Elections Commissions for the general elections.
Ban has been imposed on taking cell phone to the polling station and making elections campus within 100 meters radius of the polling stations.
He further said that security have been provided to candidates of all political parties. He urged the leadership of the parties and candidates to avoid indulging in aerial firing after receiving elections results of their candidates . He said that actions would be taken against those who violated therules and code of conduct of the ECP.
