District Nazim Visits Command Post, Inspects Security Arrangements

District Nazim Peshawar, Muhammad Asim Tuesday visited Supreme Command Post and he was apprised about the security measures taken by the police for peaceful observance of Muharram.

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Sep, 2018 ) :District Nazim Peshawar, Muhammad Asim Tuesday visited Supreme Command Post and he was apprised about the security measures taken by the police for peaceful observance of Muharram.

He was accompanied by Adviser to CM for Science and Technology, Kamran Bangash, Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Imran Hamid and SSP Operations, Javaid Iqbal.

The district Nazim also visited special control room in the command post and Imambarghas where he inspected the arrangements made by the police to monitor Muharram processions.

Expressing satisfaction over the arrangements, he directed to utilize all the available resources to further enhance security measures. Healso urged ulemas to play their role in maintaining peace during Muharram.
