District Police Officer Manshera Zaibullah Khan Tuesday said the police and media had perpetual relations, saying media's role in controlling menace of aerial firing could not be overlooked.
MANSEHRA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Nov, 2018 ) :District Police Officer Manshera Zaibullah Khan Tuesday said the police and media had perpetual relations, saying media's role in controlling menace of aerial firing could not be overlooked.
During his visit to Mansehra press club here, he expressed his satisfaction over the role of local journalists belonging to both print and electronic media. DPO put the attention of the media to the menace of aerial firing which was increasing day by day and media had to highlight this issue.
He said that during this month we have registered 47 First Investigation Reports (FIR) against the aerial firing accused under firing act.
While talking about the drug trafficking in the district, the DPO said that the police were working for the eradication of the narcotics and had started special drive against the drugs and traffickers.
Zaibullah Khan disclosed the police officials, in district Manshera, were directed to cooperate with all complainant during the registration of FIR's and other matters in the police stations, adding that misbehavior with any of the appellant would not be tolerated.
