Dost Mazari Elected PA Deputy Speaker

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Aug, 2018 ) :Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) Dost Muhammad Mazari was Thursday elected as Deputy Speaker of Punjab Assembly.
Out of total 348 votes, cast by the members, Dost Mazari abtained 187 votes, while his contender PML-N's Malik Muhammad Waris Kallu received 159 votes.
Two votes were rejected during the counting.
The newly-elected Speaker Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi administered oath to the new deputy speaker and felicitated him on his success.
Dost Mazari thanked PTI Chairman Imran Khan for placing trust in him.
