DPO Finalizes Security Arrangements For PK 44 By-election

District Police Officer (DPO), Syed Khalid Hamdani here Friday finalized security arrangement for PK-44 by-election, which would be held on October 14 on Sunday.
SWABI (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Oct, 2018 ) :District Police Officer (DPO), Syed Khalid Hamdani here Friday finalized security arrangement for PK-44 by-election, which would be held on October 14 on Sunday.
A meeting of Swabi police with DPO Khalid Hamadani discussed different security issues and deployment of police for PK-44 Swabi fell vacant after Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser vacated this provincial seat.
It was decided that mobile phones, cameras and arms would not be allowed inside polling stations and strict action would be taken against violators.
The meeting was told that out of 161 polling stations in the constituency, 14 were declared high sensitive, 64 sensitive and 83 normal.
Over 1000 policemen would perform security duties and will ensure peaceful environment for electorates.
A total of 88 polling station for male and 72 for female and one joint polling stations was setup.
