
Dr. Sharjeel Appointed As MS Benazir Bhutto Hospital

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Jun, 2025) The Punjab Specialized Healthcare & Medical education Department has issued a couple of administrative reshuffles in Rawalpindi's health sector, appointing Dr. Sharjeel Sarfraz Ahmed Sheikh as the new Medical Superintendent of Benazir Bhutto Hospital.
Dr.
Sarfraz, a grade-19 Additional Principal Medical Officer from Holy Family Hospital, has been transferred following recommendations by the Select Committee and approval from the Competent Authority.
He replaces Dr. Muhammad Irfan Bashir, a grade-20 officer, who has been transferred to the Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department.
The transfer notifications were formally issued on Thursday by the Secretary, Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department, Punjab.
