
Drinking Water Schemes For 800 Villages

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Augst,2016) : Provincial government has directed the divisional administration to start a mega project for providing drinking water to rural areas of the division. According to Regional Director of the project, Abid Hussain, initially a plan has been formulated for provision of sweet water to 800 villages of the District Sargodha in the first phase.
In the second phase it would be provided to Districts Khushab, Bhakhar and Mianwali villages. He said the survey in this regard has been completed at the villages where water plants would be installed.The surrounding areas with sweet ground water would also be indicated from where supply will be made through pipelines. The official disclosed that committees comprising locals were being formulated for maintenance of water plants and pumping stations.
