DSWC Naushahro Feroze Approves Development Schemes In Villages With Active Exploration Sites

District Social Welfare Committee Naushahro Feroze approved different schemes of health, education and drainage from the amount provided by oil and gas exploration companies working in the district
According to a handout issued by the district information office here on Tuesday, Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) and Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) had provided Rs.27 million for development schemes in corresponding exploration areas.
The committee approved construction of medical dispensaries at villages Usman Solangi and Ghous Bukhsh Lehrrai; 2 room school buildings at Villages Mullan Shukar and Sher Muhammad Abro while surface drainage schemes in villages Jan Muhammad Rajpar and Aadho Dhuhyo were also accorded approval.
Chairman Social Welfare Committee Syed Abrar Hussain Shah and Deputy Commissioner and Secretary Social Welfare Committee Dr. Wasim Ali jointly presided the meeting while chairman district council Abdul Sattar Abbasi, Syed Hassan Ali Shah, officers of Works and Services, Public Health Engineering, Education and Revenue departments, secretaries of Union Council Darya Khan Jalbani and UC Bella Wah attended the meeting.
Dr. Wasim Ali stressed for compliance of government directives and said that schemes for development in areas with active oil and gas exploration sites should be finalized on merit so that maximum number of people could benefit of them.
