MIRPUR (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Apr, 2019 ) :A delegation of All Kashmir Forum Wednesday called on Prof. Dr. Ayaz Afsar, renowned Pakistani educationist, serving as Dean Faculty of Languages & Literature, International Islamic University, Islamabad and discussed, in length, the urgent need of the peaceful solution of Kashmir issue without further loss of time to ensure emergence of ever-lasting peace in South Asia in particular and the world-over in general.

The topic of discussion was "Youth and their Role for Regional Peace." The root cause of the Kashmir issue needs to be addressed without further wastage of time . In Indian occupied Jammu Kashmir, rape is being used as an instrument of war. It should be kept in mind that the gender dimension is important both politically and socially. The atrocities in the occupied valley has reached a breaking point. Kashmir is not a piece of real estate to fight over. It is time that India should accept the formation of an independent international commission", the participants observed unanimously.

Delegation of All Kashmir Forum, an emerging organization working for freedom, peace and prosperity of Jammu Kashmir, was comprising Cordinator AKF Abdul Basit Khan, Marketing & Media Head Faran Iftikhar Butt, Ibad-ur-Rehman, Zohaib Abbasi, Sadam Saleem Ch., Arslan Ahmed, Sardar Tayyab, Saghir Khan and Muhammad Raheem.

Prof. Afsar said to the participants of the debate "regional peace is directly proportional to the development and progress of the entire region and the world in general. Jammu Kashmir conflict is an issue of humans living there". The Kashmiri youth on both sides of Cease Fire Line have never been so proactive and jubilant as they are at the present, said Prof. Afsar. He further said that youth should play their active role to highlight this issue. He said that academia, researches, students, politicians should have come forward to work together for this cause.

Abdul Basit Khan, Coordinator All Kashmir Forum, apprised the audience of the vision, mission, objectives and future plans of All Kashmir Forum.

Basit said on this occasion "peaceful struggle by the people of Jammu Kashmir has met the usual oppression involving new methods of torture and violence in Indian Occupied Kashmir such as use of pellet guns on civilians including women and children. Use of innocent youth (tied on army jeeps) as human shield, use of rape as a method of collective punishment, attacks on ambulances, harassing and arbitrary arrests of Kashmiri leadership, prohibition of Friday congregations, media and electricity blackouts to disrupt normal life and communication have become the daily routine of Kashmiri.
