Education Dept Asks Cyber Unit To Probe Against Propaganda

Secondary Education Department Balochistan Thursday condemned the propaganda fabricated on social media against education department and Adviser to CM for Education and stated that stern action would be taken under cyber-crime act against these elements spreading rumours.
Balochistan Secondary Education department has written an application to director cyber-crime unit to launch investigation against the elements involved in the propaganda against the department and sharing false news on social media, said a press release issued here on Thursday.
In this regard, Department of Secondary Education and FIA cyber-crime unit will jointly identify groups in which corruption charges has been imposed on adviser for education and education department.
Cyber-crime unit will take strict action against administration of these groups, while cases will be registered in civil court also against them under 500 and 501 Code of Criminal Court .
Initial investigation has identified some teachers and department employees involved in this matter, who are absent from their offices since long time and not performing their duties.
