Efforts Underway To Eliminate Dengue
RAWALPNDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22th August, 2016) : Advisor to Chief Minister on dengue control Dr Waseem Akram on Monday said that all resources are being utilized for eliminating dengue and concerned departments are fully mobilized for carrying out the task.
Addressing a training workshop here at Taxila, he directed all concerned departments to keep close liaison with each other and public representatives to completely wipe out the menace of dengue. He directed that anti-dengue regulations should be implemented and stern action should be taken against those failing to comply with the laws.
He asked the workers to create awareness among the house-wives to keep their houses clean and leave no place wet or with stagnant water. The Advisor highlighted steps taken by the Punjab government to control the spread of dengue larvae.
