Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) Preparations In Full Swing In Rawalpindi

Preparations are in full swing to celebrate Eid Milad-un-Nabi (Peace Be upon Him) on Nov 21, Wednesday with religious enthusiasm and solemnity in the city.
Like all previous years, the government and religious organization have planned a number of activities to celebrate Eid Milad-ul-Nabi (PBUH) event this year.
Various religious, social and cultural organizations and Milad committees are also busy in finalizing various programmes, including Mahafil-e-Naat and Seerat gathering where speakers will highlight various aspects of the life and teachings of Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
Various educational institutions and religious organizations are also finalizing their programmes for Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).
Important government and private buildings, mosques and streets in the city are being decorated with lights, green flags, colourful buntings and banners welcoming the festive day commonly known as Eid Milad-un-Nabi.
Meanwhile, the district administration is making elaborate security arrangements to avoid any untoward incident. Police and other security personnel will also be deployed on key points to maintain law and order.
