The public rush is increasing day by day ahead of Eidul Fitr and business activities were also being witnessed in markets and plazas till late night.
SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th May, 2019 ) : The public rush is increasing day by day ahead of Eidul Fitr and business activities were also being witnessed in markets and plazas till late night.
People have started Eid shopping, and a number of families could be seen in markets and shopping malls for the purpose.
"We came here for Eid shopping due to pleasant weather as it was impossible for us to visit bazaars in hot weather during Ramadan," a woman visiting bazaar along with her children for shopping told APP.
Most people visit markets after Iftar and huge rush is seen around the city markets.
Different stalls of bangles, ladies garments and children toys have been set up in the markets which also attract shoppers, a customer said.
A spokesman for police said that special arrangements had been adopted for the markets to maintain foolproof security arrangements, adding that security of mosques and all religious places had also been tightened.
The shopkeepers said sale of different items have increased these days, though people seemed reluctant to visit markets due to hot weather. He hoped that more people would be visiting bazaars and shopping malls in the days to come.
