
Engineers Adopt Three-year Plan For Capacity Building

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd july,2016) : Institution of Engineers Pakistan Rawalpindi-Islamabad Center (IEP-RIC) will soon construct its own building in the Federal capital to expand and improve its capacity-building and welfare-oriented activities. The IEP-RIC's Local Council's has prepared a three-year road map to develop their professional standing through short-courses, lectures series and conferences.
It also adopted various proposals for the welfare of the engineering community. The Engineering body led by Hafiz M. Ehsan Qazi had also evolved a plan to promote national and international collaboration and enhance their membership to achieve their stipulated targets.
The Council's Building committee at its meeting held here opened the bids of consultancy charges for the construction of new IEP-RIC building received from four different firms. Chairman Building Committee Engr.
Abdurrab gave a detail briefing to members on the construction's process. The members included Engr. Ch. Sikandar Hayat,Engr. Col (R) Abdur Rashid Bangash, Engr. Ahmad Shamim, Engr. Qudrat Ullah and secretary IEP-RIC Engr. Shafiq- ur-Rehman.
