Ex GM Fertilizer Held In Corruption

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th july, 2016) : The Islamabad High Court rejected interim bail of Ex-General Manager National Fertilizer Marketing Limited, Kamran Saeed involved in Rs 280 million corruption. National Accountability Bureau (NAB) officials arrested the accused outside the court premises after rejection of bail application by a division bench comprising Justice Aamir Farooq and Justice Muhsan Akhtar Kyani.
NAB prosecutor apprised the bench that accused while misusing his authority allotted fertilizer to the consumer more than fixed quota. He said that Saeed was consistent in illegal doing as another reference was also registered against him in Lahore Bureau and requested for the rejection of bail to probe the matter in depth. While counsel for the accused pleaded the case in the favor of his client but in vain, subsequently the court rejected the bail.
