Fawad Ch And Asad Umar Exchange Harsh Words During Cabinet Meeting

TV reports state finance minister questions information minister’s silence over PPP’s criticism against the government
ISLAMABAD- (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News- 19th March 2019) Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry and Finance Minister Asad Umar have reportedly exchanged harsh words during the Federal cabinet meeting which held in Islamabad on Tuesday.
According to tv reports, Asad Umar pointed out Fawad Ch silence over PPP’s criticism against the government and Bilawal Bhutto speech. He said information minister should have responded to Bilawal Bhutto speech.
On this, Fawad said he was not duty bound to Asad Umar. He said he would not work on directions of Asad Umar.
The issue of the foreign visit of Port Minister Ali Haider Zaidi also came under discussion in the meeting. The prime minister has advised minister for not making useless foreign tours.
Later, in the press conference, Fawad denied any exchange of harsh words with the finance minister. He said Asad was like his brother and they could have a difference of opinion on some matters.
