Fawad Chaudhry Resigns As Information Minister

The outspoken PTI MNA from Jehlum has been given charge of the IT Ministry. Health Minister Amir Kiyani, Petroleum Minister Chaudhry Ghulam Sarwar also resigned: Reports
LAHORE- (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News- 18th April 2019) Prime Minister Imran Khan has removed Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry and given the portfolio to Firdus Aashiq Awan.
According to local TVs, Fawad was given charge of Science and Technology ministry.
The prime minister has removed Health Minister Amir Kiyani, Petroleum Minister Chaudhry Ghulam Sarwar and food Security Minister Mehboob Sultan. There is a likelihood that they would be given fresh responsibilities, although it has yet to be decided.
Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that there are no internal rifts in the parties and that it was prerogative of the PM to develop the team of his own choice.
