FBR Holds Seminar To Create Awareness About Tax Amensty Scheme

Regional Taxation Office organised a day-long awareness-raising seminar about FBR's tax amnesty scheme here.
SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Jul, 2018 ) :Regional Taxation Office organised a day-long awareness-raising seminar about FBR's tax amnesty scheme here.
Muhammad Nadeem Arif (Chief Commissioner, Regional Tax Office, Sialkot), Ghazanfar Hussain (Chief Commissioner, Regional Tax Office, Gujranwala), Nadeem Rizvi (Chief Commissioner, Corporate Regional Tax Office, Lahore), Asim Majeed (Chief Commissioner, Regional Tax Office-II, Lahore), all senior officers of Regional Tax Offices Sialkot and Gujranwala, members of Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) and offcie-bearers of Tax Bar Associations Sialkot, Gujrat and Gujranwala also attended the seminar.
While addressing the participants, senior FBR officials stressed the need for some collective, effective and combined measures to create awareness about FBR's tax amensity scheme, and motivating people to avail the scheme.
They also stressed removing confusion about Voluntary Declaration of Domestic Assets Ordinance, 2018 and Foreign Assets (Declaration and Repatriation) Ordinance, 2018, generally called Tax Amnesty Scheme, 2018.
During the session, different aspects of the scheme were highlighted regarding benefits and opportunities which taxpayers could enjoy by availing the Tax Amnesty Scheme 2018. After brief speeches by the Chief Commissioners and guests of honor, a lively question answer session was held during which different queries were raised by the participants.
The participants were told that no further extension in date of Amnesty Scheme 2018 would be given.
