FCCI President For Increasing Domestic Production Of Electricity, LPG

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 05th Oct, 2016 ) : Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) president Engineer Muhammad Saeed Sheikh on Wednesday said that domestic production of electricity as well as LPG should be increased to further enhance industrial productivity in order to achieve annual GDP growth rate of 8 percent.
Addressing a function of LPG Distributors Association, he said that the FCCI had more than 5000 members within its fold that represented almost all trades and sectors of economy. He said that chamber had been advocating for the problems of its members at all levels and many of these issues had already been resolved.
Engineer Muhammad Saeed said that he had started his tenure with a clear road map to further strengthen the national economy. He said, "We are forwarding viable proposals to bring a qualitative as well as quantitative improvement in the international trade and domestic commerce." He hoped that this year would prove a major milestone in the history of FCCI due to its reinvigorated performance.
Earlier, Amir Farooq chairman and Shahid Javed president LPG Distributors Association also addressed the function and asked the members to get proper licenses from the concerned TMO to continue their normal business activities.
