FDA Launches Clean & Green Program

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Oct, 2018 ) ::Under the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan, elaborated arrangements have been made by Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) for implementation of Clean & Green Program for making the city clean and green.

The FDA formally launched this program here on Monday from Madina Town by sweeping and planting trees with the joint collaboration of PHA, Faisalabad Waste Management Company and WASA.

Federal Parliamentary Secretary Mian Farrukh Habib, MPA/Chairman PHA Latif Nazar, Chairman FDA Dr. Asad Muazzam and Vice Chairman WASA Sh. Shahid Javed launched the Program. MD PHA Asif Ch, Chief Engineer FDA Asghar Ali, DMD WASA Wasim Hashmi, Senior Operation Manager FWMC Ejaz Bandesha and other officers supervised the cleanliness and tree plantation drive.

Expressing his views, Federal Parliamentary Secretary Mian Farrukh Habib said that the tree plantation had been expanded all over Pakistan after Khyber Pakhtukhwa under the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan and 10 billion trees would be planted during the 5 years.

He said that the Clean & Green Program was conceived for the first time in the history of Pakistan by the present government and it would be made successful with the coordinated efforts of public representatives, community and concerned departments.

Chairman FDA Dr. Asad Muazzam said that the mission of clean and green Faisalabad would be completed through joint efforts and all out support would be extended to the other departments for beautifying the city.

Chairman PHA/MPA Nazar Latif said that citizens would see positive change in near future and pleasant environment would be provided to the citizens by implementing the Clean & Green Program.

Vice Chairman WASA Sh. Shahid Javed made commitment that the WASA would play its activerole in Clean & Green Program.
